1. Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries or damages caused by their dogs. Members may not bring canine guests into the park with them. The word “owner” applies to the adult person accompanying the dog(s).
2. You must “Scoop the Poop” and place in trash receptacles.
   
3. All dogs must be spayed or neutered. Puppies must be at least 6 months of age.
   
4. No children under twelve (12) years of age are allowed inside the park. Dog handlers must be at least 16 years of age.
5. Limit (3) dogs per handler in the off-leash area.
   
6. Dog owners must carry a leash at all times, closely supervise their dogs and never leave their dog(s) unattended.
   
7. Excessive barking, uncontrollable or aggressive dogs will not be tolerated.
   
8. Humans are not allowed in the water features – splash pads or lake.
   
9. Owners must stop dogs from digging and fill any holes.
   
10. All dogs must be on a leash when not in fenced-in areas and off leash while inside playground.
    
11. Pinch, spike or choke collars must be removed before entering the park.
    
12. No smoking or glass containers are allowed inside the park.
    
13. No one may conduct any kind of commercial or professional business in the dog park without approval.
    
14. No bicycles, skateboards or roller blades are allowed.
    
15. Due to insurance reasons, we are not able to offer memberships to “pit bulls.”  This includes the American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and Bull Terriers.

A dog owner who fails to comply with the above rules may be asked to leave the dog park and may have their membership revoked.
Happy Hounds Playground reserves the right to close the park due to weather conditions determined to be unsafe or damaging to the facility.
